WOOT! FINALLY a prayer can't save the world. Much preferable to Rusty's habit of taking religious/mythological ideas and making their execution utterly shite.
Could use a beta though (especially for the "were stood" instead of "were standing"--not good literary English, more like casual spoken language, so it jars), but otherwise wonderful. Just.. lovely. Very pleasing:).
